The RK-47 is a modern recreation of the Neumann K47; it is a single-backplate capsule with characteristic M7/K47 drilling pattern.

 

The diaphragm material is 3-micron Mylar. Termination wires are Teflon-insulated oxygen-free copper.

 

If you wish to use it within a Cardioid microphone, simply leave the rear diaphragm disconnected from the circuitry.

Each G-K47 includes a 10.5mm mounting post, plus the necessary screws and termination wires to install the capsule.

SOUND:

The G-K47 has the characteristic sound of the K-47 capsule, less dark than the G-K7, aggressive and forward in the midrange, with plenty of highs and a creamy low end. For U47 lovers!
